Canada Express entry is nothing but a selection system for people who are interested in moving to Canada. This immigration program is designed to select skilled workers based on their skills and ability to contribute to Canada’s economy. This selection process is completely an electronic process that involves the federal government, provincial government, and the Canadian employers. There are three economic immigration programs managed by Express Entry Program.

The three immigration programs are:
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is a points-based immigration program that qualifies for Express Entry to Canada. There are six selection factors for this program. Each selection factor has its own maximum points. An applicant has to score minimum 67 points out of 100 in order to qualify for this program.
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is for all those people who are qualified in skilled trade and want to become a permanent resident in Canada. An applicant must meet the eligibility requirements in order to apply for this program.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration category for Canada’s foreign workers who wish to become permanent residents. This is for all those immigrants who have skilled work experience in Canada.
Eligible Candidates who apply under Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) category of Express Entry Program are required to meet the minimum CRS point’s criteria in which they have to score equal to more than the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score. If they score equal to or more than that, they are considered as qualified otherwise not eligible. Based on those scores, candidates are provided with a rank and those who have the highest score with a good rank are more likely to receive an invitation to apply from the government of Canada.

Every month, the government of Canada issues an invitation to apply (ITA) through a draw named as Express Entry Draw. There are two Express Entry draws released by the government of Canada in a month through which they issue invitations to apply to the candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for Canada Express Entry along with the CRS requirement of that Express Entry draw. Receiving an invitation doesn’t guarantee you a Canada PR visa; it simply means you are invited by the government of Canada for the Canada immigration. You will receive a Canada PR visa once your final document filing work is done. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are qualified to apply for a Canada PR visa but the candidates who will meet the CRS requirement of the Express Entry draw can only move forward for further procedure. Thus Express Entry Draw is a round of invitation in which qualified candidates receive invitations to proceed further for Canada Permanent Resident Visa.
