Immigrate to Canada as a Skilled worker
Usually, a person with special skill, training, knowledge, and ability in their work is said to be a skilled worker. For example carpenters, construction workers, plaster workers, house painters, plumbers and electricians. Since Canada is a country with maximum migration so the definition of a skilled worker in Canada is slightly different from the definition mentioned above. Education, work experience, knowledge of English/ French and other selection factors will decide that whether a person is skilled or not. Because of skill shortage in Canada, every year a lot of skilled migrants are issued a Canada PR visa to meet the skill shortage in Canada. So it has become easy for skilled workers to migrate to Canada.
The process through which a skilled worker can apply for a Permanent resident visa in Canada is the Express Entry Program. Express Entry is an online system that manages application for the permanent residence status of skilled workers. It is an electronic process that involves the federal government, the provincial government, and the Canadian employers.

If you are a skilled worker and you want to settle down in Canada, then the first step is to create an Express Entry Profile in order to apply for a Canada Permanent Resident Visa. There are three immigration programs managed by the Express Entry Program.
Three immigration programs are:
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is a points-based immigration program that qualifies for Express Entry to Canada. There are six selection factors for this program. Each selection factor has its own maximum points. An applicant has to score at least 67 points out of 100 in order to qualify for this program.
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is for all those people who are qualified in skilled trade and want to become a permanent resident in Canada. An applicant must meet the eligibility requirements in order to apply for this program.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration category for Canada’s foreign workers who wish to become a permanent resident in Canada. This is for all those immigrants who have skilled work experience in Canada.
Also, there are two more ways to apply for a Canada permanent resident visa. First is the Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) and second is the Quebec Skilled worker Program (QSWP).
The Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) is a way through which the provinces of Canada (except Quebec) can select candidates who are interested in migrating to Canada in that particular province. Quebec has its own selection system for immigrants. The program through which the Quebec nominate immigrants is Quebec skilled worker program (QSWP). Thus, the provinces of Canada other than Quebec are allowed to nominate immigrants through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Quebec invites only highly educated and trained applicants who are interested in migrating to Quebec. There are 10 selection factors for this program. Each selection factor has its own maximum points. Based on these maximum points, a total score is awarded to a candidate applying for Quebec skilled worker program. If a candidate is unmarried, he will need to score at least 50 points in order to qualify for this program while an applicant with a spouse or common-law partner will need to score at least 59 points.
