Step 6: Obtain medical and criminal background check:
You need to submit the approved medical certificate from Canada immigration authority to the IRCC as a proof of your mentally and physically well-being. Similarly, you need a police clearance certificate from a city where you have been living for more than six months.
Step 7: Immigration officers review the applications:

Step 8: Receive the confirmation for PR:
If the immigration officer approves your application for Canadian Permanent residence visa, then you will get a COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) card at this step.
