New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream:
This immigration stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program provides permanent residence to applicants having previous experience in business ownership or business management, and willing to invest money in a business in the province.

New Brunswick post-graduate Entrepreneurial Stream:
This immigration stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program provides permanent residence to applicants who have recently completed their two-year post-secondary degree from universities and colleges of the province and have started or operated a business in the province for a minimum of one year.
New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Employer Support:
This immigration stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program provides permanent residence to applicants having a valid job offer from the employer of the province.
Note: New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Family Support was terminated in February 2018
Eligibility requirements for New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP)
New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream:
On October 01, 2018, the government of the province temporarily closed express entry linked stream of NB PNP. However, on July 26, 2019, the government restarted its process of accepting Expression of interest from applicants under this stream after meeting the following requirements:
- An applicant must have an active profile in the Express Entry Program
- He/she must be currently working in the province and have a letter of employment from the current employer. The working position must include in NOC Code 0, A, or B
- He/she must have a valid Canadian Work Permit
- He/she must score a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark Level (CLB) 7 in the language proficiency test, IELTS
- He/she must complete education equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma
New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream:
- An applicant must be at least 22 years of age
- He/she must have a connection to the province. He/she has either come to the province for a visit of at least five days or has participated in any organized Entrepreneurial Stream information session within 24 months
- He/she must score a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark Level (CLB) 5 in the language proficiency test, IELTS
- He/she must complete education equivalent to a Canadian post-secondary diploma
- He/she must have previous experience in business ownership or business management, and willing to invest money in the business in the province. His/her share must be at least one-third or 33.33% in the previous business for at least three years in the last five years.
- He/she must score a minimum of 65 points on New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream assessment grid
New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream:
- An applicant must be at least 22 years of age
- He/she must complete a full-time, two-year post-secondary degree from universities and colleges of the province
- He/she must have experience of at least one year of operating or managing his/her business in the province
- He/she must have a valid Canadian post-graduate work permit
- He/she must score a minimum of 65 points on New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream assessment grid
New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Employer Support:
- An applicant must have a valid job offer from an employer in the province, and the job offer must include work at NOC Skilled Type 0, A or B.
Note: NOC Skill Type 1, 3, 7, 8, or 9 of NOC Level C or D are also considered valid for this immigration stream
- He/she must score a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark Level (CLB) 4 in a language proficiency test, IELTS
- He/she must complete education equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma
- He/she must have sufficient work experience in the same profile written in the job offer
- He/she must score a minimum of 50 points on New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Employer Support assessment grid
Application process for the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP):
- Check the eligibility criteria and on being eligible complete the Expression of Interest for New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program
- Authorities evaluate the submitted EOIs against each other and assign a score to each of them
- Highest scoring profiles receive invitations to apply for NB PNP, and within 90 days applicants need to submit the completed application form for NB PNP.
- After submission, an applicant must pay the processing fee, which is around $ 250 (CAD)
- If the profile of candidate gets qualified for a provincial nomination through New Brunswick, then an application has six months to apply for Canadian permanent residence visa.
Processing time for New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP):
As NB PNP is a provincial program so, it takes more time than the Federal express entry program because applications under PNP require approval from both province’s government and Federal government for Canadian permanent residence. In general, it takes six to eight weeks for evaluation of application after reaching the NBPNP office. Processing time may vary in case of incomplete documents or application form as well as in case of security or medical issues.
