British Columbia Invited 81 Tech Workers in New PNP Draw
The latest Tech Pilot draw was held for nomination for permanent residency. On 26th January 2020 the province, British Columbia invited fresh immigrants from the Tech Pilot for Canada immigration. The British Columbia PNP issued 81 invitations to apply through two streams– Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC. The Skills Immigration stream is for Entry-level and semi-skilled workers in the province while the EEBC is for those candidates who have a profile in the federal Express Entry System.
The minimum required score for this Tech Pilot draw for candidates is 80.
To receive the nomination, candidates need to create a profile through the BC PNP`s portal, fill out this Eligibility Evaluation Form.
The British Columbia holds the PNP streams draw every week. The Tech Pilot was launched in 2017 to have sound growth in the technology sector. This also became a part of the pertinent economic policies for the growth of the technological or professional sector. British Columbia has always been the centre of attraction for industrial and tech expertise. It demands to become the key factor in attracting interest entrepreneurs.
Apart from the Tech workers, the province continues to hold draws for inviting candidates inviting international graduates in non-tech occupations.
The IRCC holds the draw of Express Entry in two weeks. It then issues invitations to apply to the highest-scoring candidates. Express Entry candidates with a profile in it and receive a provincial nomination gain 600 points to the total CRS score.
The Provincial Nominee Program is the second main applicant system for Canada immigration. It invites and selects candidates who can fulfil the economic development of the province.
The year 2020 was history in the Express Entry Program. Despite the unexpected pandemic, it managed to issue, 108,350 ITAs. The number of invitations is set to increase per year.
