Canada Holds 3rd Express Entry draw of 2021
The new Express Entry draw invites 374 candidates with a CRS score of 741. On January 20, Canada held its 3rd Express Entry draw inviting 374 Express Entry candidates with a minimum CRS score of 741.
Express Entry is the flagship of Canada`s immigration system for permanent residence. The 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan of Canada aims to welcome an average of 110,000 immigrants via Express Entry System.
There are three streams for Canada immigration in Express Entry. They are-
- Skilled Worker Program
- Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
Canada has issued invitations to Express Entry (PR) Program. The Invitations sent to candidates, whose CRS score was 741.
The IRCC holds the draw of Express Entry in two weeks. It then issues invitations to apply to the highest-scoring candidates. Express Entry candidates with a profile in it and receive a provincial nomination gain 600 points to the total CRS score.
The Provincial Nominee Program is the second main applicant system for Canada immigration. It invites and selects candidates who can fulfil the economic development of the province.
The year 2020 was history in the Express Entry Program. Despite the unexpected pandemic, it managed to issue, 108,350 ITAs. The number of invitations is set to increase per year.
The Two Express Entry Draws of 2021 Was Held on January 6 and 7.
- Jan 6 – Invited 250 PNP candidates
- Jan 7 – Invited 4750 CEC candidates
The total number of invitation issued so far in 2021, is 5,374, more than 2020 at the same time.
This PNP draw saw the fall of CRS cut-off score of 741 as per the last Express Entry – PNP program on January 6, the cut-off score was 813.
