Thursday, the government of the province of Alberta provided detail on its two express entry draws held on September 11 and September 18 with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 302.
Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is one of the most popular Provincial Nominee Programs in Canada in a short span of time. It manages the entry of skilled and experienced candidates to meet the demands of the province’s market.
So, all interested candidates who want to consider their profiles for AINP’s provincial nomination through its express entry-linked stream need to apply online for application for Express entry pool. Based on selection factors like age, work experience, education, language proficiency in English or French, adaptability and arranged employment candidates receive their respective Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
However, only higher-scoring candidates are fortunate to get the invitation to apply for PR in Canada through regular draws. After getting the provincial nomination, they receive an additional 600 points toward their Express entry score.
In the draw held on September 18, 139 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) issued to Express Entry candidates seeking opportunity in the province of Alberta with CRS score as low as 350. As compared to Federal Express entry draw, the cut-off drawn through the Alberta’s Express entry draw is relatively very low.
On July 05, 2019, Alberta Express entry draw has witnessed its highest CRS score of 425 so far in 2019; this was comparatively lower than the lowest cut-off score of 438 in all federal Express Entry draw so far in 2019.
To be eligible for this draw, candidates must have a profile in Express Entry pool with a minimum CRS score. In addition to this, they must be working in Alberta in-demand occupations. The AINP give priority to candidates having
- work experience in occupation that supports the province’s economic development;
- a degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution along with a valid job offer; or
