IRCC announced new express entry application deadline |Express entry program
The second express entry draw that took place on June 25, 2018 with comprehensive ranking system score was 442. First express entry draw was held on June 13, 2018 in which the cut off comprehensive ranking system score was 451. Clearly, in just 11 days the cut off comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) unexpectedly dropped from 451 to 442.
Now along with the comprehensive ranking system score, Immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reduced the deadline for the submission of application.
This change is applicable only for those who received an invitation to apply after June 26, 2018 that is right after the second express entry draw.
So the candidates who received an invitation to apply or ITA for Canadian permanent residence will have to complete electronic application procedure within 60 days.
For those candidates who received an invitation to apply or ITA for Canadian permanent residence before June 26, 2018 deadline is still 90 days
An invitation to apply or ITA in regular invitation rounds from express entry have been issued to high-ranked candidates.
