IRCC issued 3,500 ITAs in Second Express Entry Draw September 19, 2018

Do you qualify for second express entry?
Immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada (IRCC) have released two express entry draws this month. First express entry draw was held on September 5, 2018, in which the cut off comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score was 440 and the second express entry draw that took place on September 19, 2018, with comprehensive ranking system score is 441.
Total 3,500 invitations to apply or ITAs are issued by Immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada (IRCC) to those candidates whose score was equal or more than the minimum comprehensive ranking system score in this express entry draw respectively.
Those candidates having comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) 441 or above 441 whose profile has been submitted before the tie-break time and date will have received an Invitation to apply (ITA) in this current invitation round.
Thus in total 7,400 invitations to apply or ITAs have been issued so far in the month of September by Immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Canadian permanent residence.
As Express entry is an electronic system that manages applications to select a potential candidate for immigration to Canada, this whole process takes place through three programs mentioned below:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Each of the above-mentioned programs has different eligibility criteria than others.
In 2017, a total of 86,023 ITAs were issued. Canada has increased admission targets for both 2018 and 2019, possibly this year’s total number of ITAs surpass the number of ITAs issued in 2017.
Kev is 29; he has a Master’s degree and has an initial advanced (IELTS 8) English language proficiency in listening and all other abilities (IELTS 7). Although he has never worked or studied in Canada, he has been working as an accountant for two (2) years abroad. Kev does not have any relatives in Canada. His CRS score of 444 would have been sufficient to obtain an ITA in today’s draw.
