Know About: Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a way to immigration to Canada and it is linked to the Federal Express Entry Program. Express Entry Program is an electronic process that manages application through three economic immigration programs. Those three economic immigration programs are – the Federal skilled worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trade Program and the Canadian Experience Class.
If the applicants want to apply for the Express Entry sub-category of SINP then they must score 60 points out of 100 in point assessment grid of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). Along with this, the applicants must have work experience in a high-skilled occupation and that high –skilled occupation must in In-Demand Occupations List.
The candidates who have received an invitation to apply under any sub-category can submit a complete provincial nomination application to the Government of Saskatchewan. Express Entry candidates will get an additional 600 points for their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, in the federal government’s Express Entry selection system. This means these candidates will be at a good place to obtain an Invitation to Apply or ITAs for Canada Permanent Residency visa.
This program is not for the Candidates in Occupations In-Demand sub-category because the Occupations In-Demand sub-category is not linked with the Express Entry system. All those candidates who want to be considered for provincial nomination under any of the sub-category of SINP must submit an Expression of Interest profile under Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Candidates who have received an invitation to apply have 60 days to complete their application for a provincial nomination.
