On March 1st, 2019, Manitoba held its fifth Expression of Interest Draw of 2019 and invited around 403 applications to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR. After the draw, the total number of invitations through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has reached around 2,267.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is an immigration program for Canada which receives the applications through three different categories, Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba or International Education stream. Here, the evaluation of applications has done according to factors like education, work experience, language proficiency and established connections to Manitoba.
So all the interested applicants have to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) in any of these streams, and only the highest-ranked EOI profiles will receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) through regular invitation rounds.
Around 216 Skilled Worker, Overseas Candidates received the LAA on March 1 Draw. Out of which, there are many Express Entry candidates in the pool. All of them are awarded an additional 600 points, which get added into their Express entry score. - Job-seeker validation code
- At least six months of working experience in any Manitoba’s in-demand occupation’s list
- A close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba

Another group of 41 skilled worker overseas candidates received LAAs through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, and their lowest marked EOI score was 621.
Next subset to Skilled Worker Overseas candidates, there were around 126 skilled workers in Manitoba with lowest EOI score of 566 in the March 1 Draw. This stream invites the eligible qualified temporary foreign workers.
