On March 15, 2019, Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued a total of 337 Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to Skilled Worker Overseas candidates for nomination for Canadian Permanent Residency. Out of which, 274 applications were profiles of Express Entry Candidates, and remaining 63 LAAs were of Foreign skilled workers who are directly invited through Overseas Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The MPNP in association with employers in the province started this initiative to boost up numbers of skilled labour in the Canadian market.

The lowest score for Express Entry candidates in the draw was 564. Whereas, the lowest score for another group of 63 LAAs was 695.

Till date, the MPNP program has released six draws in this year and issued 1,931 invitations through Skilled Worker Overseas Stream.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is one of the most popular provincial immigration programs in Canada. Through this program, the immigration department of Manitoba nominates the allotted number of skilled and experienced candidates for Canadian Permanent residence.

Then, they release regular provincial Draws through which only higher-scoring profiles receive Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Residency.

Requirements for nominated profiles through Express Entry Program include job-seeker validation code, at least six months working experience in any profession, listed in in-demand Occupation list.
