Ontario Invites Express entry Candidates with Experience in 10 Skilled Occupations
Ontario issued 486 invitations to Express Entry candidates with work experience in ten different National Occupation Classifications (NOCs) through its Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). All the candidates who are awarded with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging between 467 and 471 received the NOIs through the draw to apply for provincial nomination. After receiving NOI, candidates have 45 days only to submit the application.
OINP’s express-entry linked Human Capital Priorities immigration stream conduct these draws and select candidates from Express Entry pool. Application from three economic immigration categories, Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Trades Worker Class, and Canadian Experience Class get collected in the pool for Canada PR.
Eligibility for Ontario’s draw:
An applicant must have an express entry profile in any of three economic categories of the Federal Express entry system
He/she must have at least one year of continuous paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in one of the following occupations:
- Financial managers, NOC 0111
- Other administrative services managers, NOC 0114
- Advertising, marketing and public relations managers, NOC 0124
- Corporate sales managers, NOC 0601
- Retail and wholesale trade managers, NOC 0621
- Managers in customer and personal services, n.e.c., NOC 0651
- Financial auditors and accountants, NOC 1111
- Other financial officers, NOC 1114
- Professional occupations in business management consulting, NOC 1122
- Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses, NOC 3012
He/she must qualify the minimum Cut-off for the draw
Note: There is no minimum requirement for the job offer for Ontario’s draw
So if you want to consider your profile for a draw invitation, so you must have a profile in Express entry program. Based on the factors like age, work experience, language proficiency, education, your profile is evaluated against others in the pool and assigned a CRS score. In case, you qualify the range of Cut-off, you will receive a provincial nomination for PR. A provincial nomination grants an additional 600 points towards express entry score, which enhances your chances of getting an invitation through Express entry draw.
