On 6 March 2019, Saskatchewan issued 138 Invitation to Apply (ITAs) to candidates of Saskatchewan’s Express Entry and Occupation-in Demand program for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. Out of which, a total of 70 applications came from Saskatchewan’s Express Entry program, and a total of 68 applications came from Occupation in-demand sub-category. With this draw, the total number for Saskatchewan’s Express Entry has reached 515 and 302 for Occupation in-demand sub-category in 2019.

The lowest score recorded for Saskatchewan’s Express Entry program was 67, and for Occupation in-demand sub-category was 81 on March 6 draw.

So, all those candidates who want to be considered for Saskatchewan nomination program either through Express Entry or Occupation-in Demand sub-category need to first register an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).  After registration, applications receive specific scores and ranks based on the factors like education, age, working experience in a high-skilled profession on Saskatchewan in-demand occupation list, proficiency in English or French and more.

Only higher-scoring applications receive Invitation to Apply (ITAs) to apply for Canadian permanent residence. Saskatchewan’s Express Entry stream allows the province to nominate skilled candidates with a profile in the Canada Express Entry program. These nominated candidates get additional 600 points to their Express Entry score.
