Saskatchewan invites 83 Express Entry candidates in its latest EOI draw for a provincial nomination
Quebec judge orders province to continue processing Skilled Worker Program applications
On 27 February 2019, Saskatchewan has invited 83 applications of Express Entry program to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada Permanent Residence visa with the lowest score of 68. Applications with 60 or more than that are entered into the pool of candidates for evaluation.
Canada Express Entry program receive applications through three different economic immigration streams including Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
The applications with registered Expression of Interest (EOI) under Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Express Entry Sub-category get nominated for the Federal Express Entry Program. Also, selected applications which receive the provincial nomination are eligible for extra 600 points in their respective Express Entry Score for Canadian PR visa.
Evaluation of EOI profiles under the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Program requires information on six different selection factors including age, language ability, working experience, adaptability, past study record in Canada or other foreign universities, and arranged employment.
